The Bureau of Land Management is offering a $6,000 reward for information after a public restroom at Sand Mountain Recreation Area was destroyed by arson Sunday.
Investigators with the Nevada State Police State Fire Marshal Division say the fire was intentionally set, and they suspect it involved the use of accelerants.
The BLM is leading the investigation and asking for the public’s help identifying those responsible.
Anyone who visited Sand Mountain during the evening of October 24 or early morning of October 25 and saw suspicious activity is encouraged to contact investigators.
