Authorities have arrested a man suspected of stealing mail and using the enclosed stolen credit card in three Northern California counties.
Deputies say the investigation started last month after an El Dorado County man reported his mail stolen.
During their investigation, Matthew Henson emerged as a person of interest.
Deputies say they worked with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and learned that Henson allegedly used the stolen credit card in El Dorado, Sacramento and Amador counties.
Between the two agencies, officers served search warrants at several locations.
Deputies say as a result of the search warrants, officers found:
* Firearms and ammunition
* Thousands of pieces of stolen mail
* Credit card embossing machines
* Fake driver's licenses
* Illegal mailbox keys
* License Plate covers
