Plumas County teen found
A teen hiker who went missing last weekend in Plumas County has been found safe and reunited with her family. 
 
Plumas County Search and Rescue posted photos online of the reunion between 16-year-old Camila 'Mila' Schweyer and her family, after she was found near Long Lake in Lakes Basin on Monday afternoon. 
 
Search and rescue crews started searching for Schweyer on Sunday, but after not finding her, search operations resumed early Monday morning with the help of several counties and agencies as well as family and friends.

Authorities say she was finally found around 4 p.m. in good physical condition and later reunited with family at Gold Lake.

The search is on for a missing 16-year old hiker who went missing in the Lakes Basin area of Plumas County.

On Sunday night around 6:00 p.m. a report was received from 16-year old Camila 'Mila' Schweyer's mother alerting officials that she had gone missing after being dropped off for a hike.

A U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement Officer responded to the area where Camila was last seen. Search and rescue teams from Plumas County were activated and a California Highway Patrol helicopter was requested and dispatched for a search.

The crews searched extensively Sunday night and were not able to locate her.

Camila is Hispanic, around 5 feet tall and 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, black leggings, blue shoes and a light blue backpack.

Camila also had a small chihuahua-type dog with her on the hike.

Plumas County Sheriff's Office urges anyone with information on Camila's whereabouts to call the office at (530) 283-6300.
