The Placer County Sheriff's Office is hosting a horse camp in June in Truckee, and sign ups end on Monday.
The "Ride With Pride" Horse Camp happens June 17th and 18th at 9:00 a.m. at North Tahoe Regional Park.
Registration is free, and open to kids ages 7-12 who live in the Tahoe-Truckee Unified School District. Registrations must be submitted by 9:00 p.m. on Monday, May 26.
At the camp, kids can expect to learn how to handle, care for, and even ride a horse.
