After countless hours of painstaking construction, craftsmen brought their homes to be judged, and a victor was named, the finest home built in South Lake Tahoe, out of gingerbread.

The 2nd Annual Lake Tahoe Gingerbread House Competition drew talented adult and youth bakers from across the region.

The event is part of the 5th Annual Festival of Winter Lights.

After judging by a panel of experts and votes from the public, the following winners were crowned.
