Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar issued a statement Wednesday after being informed of a ballot proofing error impacting some Esmeralda County ballots.
"This afternoon, the Secretary of State's Office was informed by the Esmeralda County Clerk’s Office that Congressional District 4 candidates were not placed on Precinct 2 ballots," said the statement in part.
There are 70 active registered voters in Precinct 2. As of Wednesday, 45 of those ballots have been received for the general election.
If there is a dispute for the Congressional District 4 election, the dispute will go to the U.S. House of Representatives to determine.
