The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division in collaboration with the Reno Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshalls conducted a sex offender compliance check in Carson City.
158 registered sex offenders were checked to ensure compliance with community registration as required by Nevada Revised Statute 179D.460.
Two registered sex offenders were arrested for being out of compliance with their required registration during the operation.
Sex Offender compliance checks are completed by the Carson City Sheriff’s Office every year.
