More than 250 runners and walkers attended the Walk Us Home 5K for Foster Homes.
Over $5,000 was raised for local foster kids to attend Camp RennerVation this summer.
CASA of Carson City also held a community resource fair after the 5K.

The Division of Child and Family Services and Nevada's Department of Health and Human Services are inviting the community to participate in the Walk Us Home 5K for Foster Homes.
The 5-kilometer run/walk will raise funds to send foster kids in Nevada to Camp Rennervation, a camp operated by Jeremy Renner's charitable foundation.
The run will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the Bob McFadden Plaza on West Third Street in Carson City.
Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in various categories.
The categories include a men's run, a women's run, a youth run for ages 12 and under, a teen run for ages 13-17, an adult walk, and a youth walk for ages 17 and under.
The event will also include games and live music, and CASA of Carson City will host a resource fair.
The registration fee is $27.50 for adults, and $16.90 for children under 18. Each registrant will receive a t-shirt and a goody bag.
