An investigation has determined the cause of a fire that burned three floors of the Ballpark Apartments near Greater Nevada Field on Friday night.
The fire was started by an industrial heater according to the Reno Fire Department.
Two firefighters were injured in the blaze but discharged from the hospital the next day.
The fire caused significant damage to the building, including burning holes in the floors.Â
An RFD spokesperson estimates it may take a while to repair the damage.

A fire that broke out at the Ballpark Apartments, which are under construction near Greater Nevada Field, sent two firefighters to the hospital Friday night.
Those firefighters had been discharged as of Saturday morning.
The fire broke out around 8:30 p.m. Friday night and was not cleared until 7:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a Reno Fire Department spokesperson.

The fire started on the 3rd floor before spreading to the 4th and 5th.
78 people responded to the fire across multiple agencies, including Truckee Meadows Fire $ Rescue, Sparks Fire Department, and North Lake Tahoe Fire, in addition to the Reno Fire Department.

Multiple floors of an apartment building near Greater Nevada Field caught fire Friday night.
The Reno Fire Department confirms fires on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors of the apartments at 250 Evans Avenue.
Firefighters were still actively fighting fires on the 4th and 5th floor of the building as of just after 10 p.m., a Reno Fire Department spokesperson confirms.
There are no residents inside the building and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
A release from the City of Reno says Reno Police are conducting traffic control east and westbound of 2nd Street from Ballpark to Lake Street and north and southbound from Lake Street and Evand Avenue between 2nd and 4th Streets.
They are asking people to avoid the area.
