A code red alarm was inadvertently activated at Shaw Middle School on Friday.
In a Connect Ed call to parents, Shaw Middle School Principal Kimberly Crowley said the alarm was mistakenly activated and the activation was broadcast to students.
The principal clarified that there was no code red alarm.
Officials are investigating the reasons for the accidental activation of the alarm.
Classes continued as normal throughout the day and the principal confirmed that everyone on campus is safe.
