Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, celebrates Spring with Farm Day Sunday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.Â
The event will take place at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park at 1595 N. Sierra St., Reno at the Nevada Farms and Families area, next to Wilbur D. May Museum.
This event is free to the public.Â
The event will have many family-friendly activities including meeting farm animals from Valley Amigos Ranch and 4-H, creating crafts in the Discovery Room, learning about insects with Nevada Department of Agriculture, playing corn hole with KTMB and spin the prize wheel, checking out antique tractors and engines, and meeting Master Gardeners handing out seed bombs.
You can also listen to the amazing Washoe County Librarians with story times and activities, check out a book from the new bookmobile, share your input on a new Master Plan for Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, and participate in many more activities!
Short Tail Coffee will be onsite with drinks and snacks for purchase.
