Sparks Fire crews say a baby bunny found in last week's Sullivan Fire behind Hug High School is healing and doing well.
Firefighters say they found the rabbit hopping around the charred area with its small tail and feet burned.
No mother was found, so they kept the baby until the next morning.
A crew member then gave the bunny to a family member studying veterinary medicine who helped take care of it.
Fire crew say they affectionally named the baby 'Rice Krispy'.
