The Truckee Fire Protection District says the 3.3-acre fire is now 38% contained. Crews will continue working through the night and into the morning.
Evacuation warnings have been lifted for all zones except TRK-E145 due to the fire burning near Coyote Moon Golf Course.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Update, 7:45 p.m.:
According to the Truckee Fire Protection District, the Pass Fire started shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday.
By 4:10 p.m., crews had a hoseline around the perimeter of the fire. The fire is about 3.3 acres and is 20% contained.
There are no road closures, but drivers should use caution while driving along Donner Pass Road near the Safeway Shopping Center.
Residents in the area can find evacuation information by going to Genasys Protect and signing up for emergency alerts.

Lots of smoke is visible in the area.
According to the Truckee Fire Protection District, Truckee Fire, CAL FIRE NEU, USFS TNF, Olympic Valley Fire, North Lake Tahoe Fire, Northstar Fire, North Tahoe Fire, and Truckee Police are all on scene.
In a video sent by a viewer, a plane can be seen dropping fire retardant.
