The Galena Creek Fall Festival is happening this weekend going through Saturday, October 25th at the Galena Creek Visitors Center.
If you missed today, tomorrow on Saturday the Fall Festival will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Casey Knapp, a Reno Resident and mother, brought her kids to the Fall Festival today; "I would say for my son, it's checking out all the booths. And there's an artist here we really like - so she's usually here, and she's here again this year."
The Fall Festival has carnival-style games if you're looking for some competitive fun. They also provide face painting, a pumpkin carving contest, live music, tasty fall food and drinks - and there will also be crafts and prizes to win.
Knapp also mentions that if you like hiking, you can hit a trail while you're at the Fall Festival too: "We're familiar with the Galena Creek Visitor Center and I've brought Cub Scouts here, so we just love supporting them and it's always fun for them to play some games and get some candy before Halloween."
If you missed the Fall Festival on Friday you can check it out tomorrow where live music will be played by the band "Pocket Chameleon" and there will be a food truck visit from Tacos El Moreno.
