A new art exhibition that showcases Nevada's spectacular geography, unique natural features, and poignant history is coming to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
The exhibit, "Home Means Nevada," is based on an exhibit installed in the rotunda of the Senate Russell Building in Washington D.C.
It is themed around Nevada's state song, features 15 photographers and highlights some of the unique treasures found on federally managed lands across the state, from bighorns to Burning Man, to the ancient rock art and petroglyphs in the Gold Butte area.
The artwork will be on display through February 1st of next year in the airport's depARTures Gallery.
"Home Means Nevada"Â is part of the Nevada Touring Initiative (NTI) Traveling Exhibition Program. It was funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and the State of Nevada.
