An investigation is underway after a duplex fire killed two pets in Sun Valley Monday evening.
Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue responded to the fire on Carol Drive, off of Sun Valley Blvd. around 6:45 p.m.
Fire crews quickly knocked down the fire, but unfortunately, two pets died.
No injuries were reported although four people were displaced.
Sparks Fire also responded.
This fire is actually the second one reported on Carol Drive on Monday.Â
