The public was invited to walk for a cause this weekend at the Sparks Marina during the Reno/Sparks Walk for ALS.
The walk took place Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the marina, located at 300 Howard Drive in Sparks.
The annual event is held to raise awareness and funds for people affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in the local area.
Organizers say the walk is their largest gathering each year, bringing together people to honor loved ones and learn about ongoing research and services.
