Animal Ark is asking the community for help as the nonprofit continues recovery and wildfire mitigation efforts following the recent fires.
In a social media post, they say they're looking for up to 10 volunteers per day for hand-clearing and mitigation work, along with up to 5 volunteers for mechanized work.
They're also looking for businesses or individuals who can provide heavy equipment and other supplies.
The work is scheduled for Sept. 21 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for hand cleaning. Then on Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for bulldozer cleanup.
