Nevada State Police is investigating a deadly crash on State Route 376 in Nye County, about 25 miles north of Tonopah.
The crash happened September 18, just before 7 a.m.
Nevada State Police say a 2015 Volkswagen Golf was traveling southbound on SR 376 when it crossed the centerline into the northbound lane and collided with a Kenworth commercial vehicle hauling a set of double tank trailers.
The driver of the Volkswagen, 19-year-old Enoch Phillip Trevizo of Oracle, Arizona, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger was flown by Care Flight to a Reno hospital with serious injuries.
The condition of the commercial driver was not released.
