Partnering with NAPA AutoCare Centers, The Discovery will be offering an event focused on the inner workings of cars this weekend.
Car Care Day at The Discovery is taking place on Saturday, March 15 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The event is open to the public, and free for all visitors.
The Discovery Museum is located on 490 S. Center Street in Reno.
The event promises a day of hands-on automotive-themed activities for car enthusiasts of all ages; including an "auto parts petting zoo," a Build and Test a Race Car station, a Crash Testing Zone and a Show-N-Shine Car Display.
Also, attendees can meet the second-winningest NHRA Funny Car driver in history, Ronn Capps, who will be at The Discovery from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
