A Carson City man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Gardnerville late Thursday night. 

Douglas County deputies say they were called to the scene, on Kingslane Court, around 10:15 p.m. where they found the body 27-year-old Charles Edward Wilkinson. 

Deputies say the suspect, 25-year-old Gary Allen Dillishaw left the scene, but was arrested early Friday morning after a short police pursuit in Mineral County. 

Deputies say Dillishaw will be booked into the Mineral County Jail in Hawthorne on the Douglas County murder charge.
