10:45 P.M. UPDATE:
The Nevada Wolf Pack football team played its Homecoming game against Boise State on Friday night, with many luminaries from the team's history in attendance, including Colin Kaepernick and Chris Ault.
Ultimately, the Pack lost to Boise State 24-3.
Nevada took an early 3-0 lead on a 40-yard field goal before Boise State tied things up with a field goal of its own on the final play of the first quarter.
Nevada's field goal would be its only points of the night.
Before the game, Wolf Pack alumni were inducted into the Pack's Hall of Fame, including a legendary coach and the entire 2010 Wolf Pack football team.
"I was really moved and excited to see all the guys that were there. They really cared about what went on, and that is a special team," said former Nevada Football Coach Chris Ault.
Others in attendance and honored on Friday night included former Super Bowl quarterback Colin Kaepernick and former tight end and current coach Virgil Green.
Kaepernick played at Nevada from 2007 through 2010 and set numerous records in his four seasons.
He accounted for 141 touchdowns in 51 games.

Wide receiver Marshaun Brown, a Reno native, has stepped up amid injuries in the receiving corps. He scored a touchdown against San Diego State and had career highs in receptions (seven) and receiving yards (75) against New Mexico. Brown is the first hometown Wolf Pack player to score since 2023.
As part of Homecoming, Nevada will honor its 2010 football team as a 2025 Hall of Fame inductee.
That team finished 13-1, won the WAC title, and ended the season with a victory over Boston College in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. The 2010 team included NFL players tight end Virgil Green, quarterback Colin Kaepernick, and offensive lineman Joel Bitonio.
The 2010 team is remembered for the “Mackay Miracle,” a 34-31 overtime win against Boise State. Nevada trailed 24-7 at halftime but forced overtime, where kicker Kyle Brotzman missed two field goals, allowing Nevada to win.
Boise State enters the game with a 5-2 record and three straight wins. Quarterback Maddux Madsen has 1,823 passing yards and 15 touchdowns, and Dylan Riley leads the team in rushing. Defensively, Ty Benefield leads Boise State with 51 tackles, while the Broncos have 42 tackles-for-loss and 16 sacks this season.
Friday’s game is a chance for Nevada to rebound in Mountain West play and honor one of the program’s most celebrated teams.
