Two people have been hospitalized, with one being airlifted, following a two-car crash east of Fernley that caused traffic backups.
All lanes have since reopened.
The westbound left lane of I-80 was closed for hours roughly 30 miles east of Fernley around mile marker 81, according to a post from the Nevada State Police on X.
The second person taken to the hospital was taken via ambulance.
Both people who were taken to the hospital suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
