The Regional Human Exploitation and Trafficking (H.E.A.T.) unit conducted an operation at the Atlantis, targeting people trying to purchase sex from adults.

Two people have been arrested and three cited after an operation at the Atlantis.

HEAT was assisted by members of the Regional Gang Unit, who used a hotel room and distributed online advertisements on websites advertising illegal sex purchasing.

Individuals who responded to the ads arrived at the location expecting to engage in an agreed upon sex act for an agreed-upon price.

One suspect was arrested for Soliciting Prostitution and Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) after arriving at the hotel room to engage in an illegal sex act, while in possession of a loaded firearm concealed in the waistband of his pants.

Detectives arrested two people:

  • Chad Agustin, 24 years old – Soliciting Prostitution and Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW)
  • Stephon Bonds, 33 years old – Sex Trafficking and Living Off the Earnings of Prostitution

The following people were cited for soliciting prostitution:

  • Travis Mees, 44 years old
  • Eric Raya, 37 years old
  • Ocean Wilma, 35 years old
