Double Diamond Elementary School was briefly placed on secured campus status on Wednesday due to a disruptive student.

Student movement around campus was restricted as school police and staff addressed the student’s behavior, according to a message to parents from school principal Heather Thaxton.

The student was removed from our campus safely, and no one was injured.

The school is working closely with school police on the ongoing investigation.
