A drug trafficker has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Alvin Bresciani will be eligible for parole after 10 years.
The Washoe County District Attorney's Office says he was given 10 years for each count of Trafficking in a Schedule I Controlled Substance, 100 Grams or More, and five years for Felony Eluding, with the counts running consecutively.
The DA's office says detectives bought meth from him three times before getting a search warrant for his home after they first started the case in 2024.
When officers tried to arrest him, he drove off and started a chase with police that was ultimately called off due to safety concerns.
A day later, a neighbor told police he found a bag of drugs in his driveway.
Bresciani was found three days later wearing a red wig and was with a woman.
The DA's office says a search of her purse yielded 209 grams of meth.
In an interview with police, authorities say Bresciani admitted that the drugs in the purse, as well as the bag thrown from his truck during the earlier pursuit, belonged to him and that he had been selling drugs to supplement his income.
In total, he had an approximately 3,000 doses of meth worth approximately $12,000, and 110 doses of cocaine worth about $800.
