Drivers on Farm District Road should expect delays next week as crews perform emergency road work.
According to City of Fernley.org in an online post, Sierra Nevada Construction will perform an emergency asphalt hot patch along Farm District Road on Monday, December 15.
The patch will be located just north of Jenny's Lane in the northbound lane.
The work will cover roughly a half lane measuring 38 feet by 7 feet along the right side of the lane.
Crews are expected to begin at 8 a.m., though traffic control may be set up about an hour earlier. Work is expected to be completed in the afternoon.
Officials ask drivers to plan ahead, slow down near the work zone, and drive safely. The city thanked the public for their patience while roads are maintained.
