In Elko, resume workshops will be held every Tuesday in February from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the EmployNV Business Career Hub, 172 6th Street. Career seekers will receive guidance on modern resume tips, identifying transferable skills, and showcasing professional abilities to help build a clearer path toward a job search.
In Reno, Schneider National Carrier will host a hiring event on Tuesday, February 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the EmployNV Business Hub, 4001 S. Virginia St., Suite 11. Attendees can explore opportunities in the transportation industry and learn more about available driving positions. Top drivers can earn up to $99,000 annually. Also on Thursday, February 19, the Federal Bureau of Prisons will hold a career briefing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the EmployNV Business Hub, 4001 S. Virginia St., Suite 11, in Reno. The agency is hiring correctional officers, registered nurses, and other positions for a worksite in Herlong, California.
