Washoe County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue and RAVEN teams responded to Mt. Rose Summit Saturday morning to rescue an injured hiker.
In a post on Facebook, the sheriff's office said the RAVEN and the SAR hoist team safely secured the hiker and brought her to ground crews from Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA. She was then immediately rushed to the hospital.
Her current condition has not been released.
WCSCO said, "Outstanding work by everyone involved in another successful rescue that reflects the teamwork, skill, and precision our WCSAR and RAVEN teams bring to every mission."
