The ER at North Valleys, an Extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, is temporarily closed due to the Hawk Fire and a local mandated fire evacuation.
The facility says they are evacuating patients and staff in the building to appropriate facilities in a safe and efficient manner.
The closure will remain in effect until emergency personnel determine the area is safe to reopen.
Patients are asked not to come to the facility while the closure is in effect.
