Providing free resources and information to the community, the Community Health Alliance is holding a Family Health Festival on October 9.
The event is taking place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9 at O'Brien Middle School in Reno.
Anyone can attend, and the event is family-friendly.
Attendees can expect the following free services:
- Food Bank Mobile Harvest
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines
- Blood pressure checks
- Haircuts
- Energy assistance
- Food Stamps/SNAP Registration
- Children's Books
- Basic needs resources
All free services are offered while supplies last.
Family Health Festivals are a collaborative service brought to you by a committee of local organizations, including: Northern Nevada Public Health, Food Bank of Northern Nevada, United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra, Community Health Alliance, Community Services Agency, Family Resource Center, Health Plan of Nevada, Molina Healthcare and Renown Health.
The Family Health Festival is sponsored by Anthem.
