Reno firefighters were called to a house fire just after 11 p.m. on April 17 on Gatewood Drive.
They say it started in the garage after a car leaking flammable liquid caught fire. Most of the damage was to the car and garage.
The family of four is displaced but they are staying with a neighbor while the Red Cross helps them find a place to stay.
No injuries were reported.
