Free Admission Day Happening Now at the National Automobile Museum
The National Automobile Museum is welcoming guests today, Tuesday, July 9, with free admission and a full schedule of activities for all ages, running from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Located at 1 Museum Drive in Reno, the museum features more than 240 classic and rare vehicles, interactive exhibits, and the debut of its newest exhibit, “Hot Rods: Speed, Style & Spirit,” featuring seven iconic hot rods on loan from the Petersen Automotive Museum.
Activities happening throughout the day include:
Face painting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Free ice cream (while supplies last)
Cosplay characters inside the museum
All-day movies in the on-site theater
Food available from a local food truck
Photo opportunities with Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, and the Barbie car
A hands-on children’s activity center
Half-price family memberships, available only today, with entry into exclusive raffles
“This is a perfect day to bring the entire family,” said Phil MacDougall, Museum President. “Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just looking for something fun to do with the kids, Free Admission Day has something for everyone.”
