The Churchill County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) has released information about an incident Thursday involving gunshots.
According to a recent post on Facebook, deputies responded Thursday evening to an area between beaches 23 and 24 at the Lahontan State Recreation Area.
The deputies were called to the area on a report of gunshots, followed by screams and people yelling.
Officials with CCSO and Nevada State Parks arrived on scene and no injuries were reported.
The man who had shot the gun was found and arrested for multiple charges, and the gun that was shot was found and seized by officials.
Nevada State Parks is currently investigating the incident.
