I-80 has reopened in both directions after a mudslide and flooding prompted closures between Fernley and USA Parkway.

A mudslide is impacting both directions of I-80 between Fernley and USA Parkway, with westbound lanes closed.
The closure is in place at Derby Dam, according to a post from the Nevada Department of Transportation on X.
There is also flooding in the area per NDOT's 511 webpage.
People are advised to avoid the area while crews work to clear the interstate.
