Update 11:11 a.m.
The identities of those involved in the shooting have been released by the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
The deceased suspect is identified as 44-year old Juan Herrea Mejorado of King's Beach, California. Mejorado was pronounced dead on the scene from gunshot wounds.
Two deputies with the Carson City Sheriff's Office remain on administrative leave after the shooting, pending an investigation.
Deputy Sergeant Morgan Tucker and Deputy Jonathan Vasquez have been identified as the officers involved in the shooting.

Details have emerged about a stabbing that led to a shooting that took place late in Carson City Wednesday night.
At around 11 p.m. Sheriff's Deputies responded to a mobile home park at 170 Koontz Lane in Carson City for a reported domestic battery with a deadly weapon.
A teenager had reported via 911 that his father had stabbed his mother multiple times.
The teenager also reported that his father had cut himself severely.
Once on scene, Deputies located the mother outside of the home with multiple stab wounds and determined that two kids had fled from the home with their mother to a safe place.
The mother was taken by Care Flight to Renown Medical Center, and the two kids were unharmed.
Deputies attempted contact with the father from outside the house, but were unable to get a response. Around 11:15 p.m., after multiple failed attempts to make contact, the house was entered in an attempt to rescue the injured father.
Once the deputies got inside, a fight took place and the suspect was shot by two officers and died at the scene.
The Deputies involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave, pending an investigation.
The investigation is being performed by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
The identities of the mother, suspect, and officers are being withheld at this time.
