Wells Ave. fire

An investigation is underway after a small fire near Wells Avenue and Ryland Street in Reno. 

The fire started just before 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Reno Fire says the fire was knocked down quickly since an engine was passing by right after it started. 

Fire crews tell us there's no threat to nearby buildings or people. 

No injuries were reported.
