A late-night fire inside a vacant commercial building on Commercial Row near Sutro Street brought firefighters to the area as crews worked to put out the flames and investigators began looking into what caused it.
Reno Fire Department crews were dispatched at 10:41 p.m. Sunday to a reported structure fire at a roughly 10K square foot commercial property at 1035 Commercial Row just west of Sutro Street.
The firefighter crews arrived at 10:44 p.m. to fire inside the empty building and went to work using two engines and ladder trucks to ventilate the structure and extinguish the fire.
A total of 32 Reno Fire Department personnel responded. No injuries were reported.
Investigators said the cause of the fire is undetermined, but it may be related to camping inside the structure. The investigation remains ongoing.
