Reno Police arrested a man on charges including domestic battery and strong-arm robbery on Wednesday.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in front of the Walmart on Kietzke Lane on Wednesday just before 10 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the RPD.

The suspect, later identified as Dennis Woodral, had left by the time law enforcement arrived.

A short time later, officers received a report of a strong-arm robbery down the street, in front of the Starbucks on Kietzke Lane.

The suspect in that incident was reportedly also Woodral, according to police.

In the incident at Starbucks, Woodral allegedly got out of his car, assaulted a panhandler and took his money, then got in his car and left.

Reno Police were able to track Woodral down and bring him into custody.
