A man has been arrested on multiple charges in Carson City, including arson, after a string of fires in the Lone Mountain area on Sunday.
According to a release from the Carson City Sheriff's Office, four separate fires were set along a walking trail in the area.
49-year-old Aaron Osbun was identified as the suspect in the fires after investigators determined them to be manmade.
The Sheriff's Office described him as a transient with an active felony no bail warrant out of El Dorado County, California.
Osbun was identified after witnesses saw a man fleeing from the area of the fires. He was found at a nearby gas station convenience store and when contacted by deputies tried to hide his true identity.
All of the small fires were immediately extinguished by fire department personnel.
There was no damage, and no injuries were reported in the incident.
Osbun was booked on felony charges including third-degree arson, and obtaining and use of another identity to avoid prosecution. He was also booked on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a peace officer.
\His bail was set at $20,000.
