A man faces several charges after deputies say he fired several shots into a Carson City home where a family, including children, was sleeping early Tuesday morning.
Carson City deputies say the incident happened on Kingsley Lane just after 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Deputies say, with the help of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, officers found the suspect, Zachary Leo Vereschagin, in Gardnerville.
Vereschagin was arrested and transported to the Carson City Detention Center, where he is being held on the following charges on a $250,000 bond.
* Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling
* Assault with a Deadly Weapon
* Child Abuse, Neglect, Endangerment
* Convicted Person in Possession of a Firearm
* Reckless Endangerment
* Aggravated Stalking
