A 38-year-old man faces charges after deputies say he hit an elderly neighbor.
Washoe County deputies say William Forrest Tropf III was on probation out of California trying to own a gun when he was arrested on Wednesday, November 20.
Deputies say the initially responded to the alleged crime three days earlier.
Tropf is currently being held at the Washoe County Detention Facility on charges of felony battery by a probationer and violation of probation conditions.
