A construction truck on the way to the construction site along I-80 west had a mechanical issue, which caused a diesel leak.
The diesel spilled on the road, prompting a response from multiple agencies.
According to the Reno Fire Department, they were able to stop the spill, and NDOT cleaned it up.
The Nevada Highway Patrol then took over the scene.

A portion of I-80 west near Wells Avenue in Reno is closed due to a road hazard.Â
The incident was reported just before 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.Â
NDOT says two lanes are currently closed - so expect delays.Â
Traffic cameras show several fire trucks on scene.Â
