Lyon County deputies arrested a non-compliant sex offender in Fernley. The sheriff's office responded to a tip on Wednesday afternoon at the Villa Mobile Home Park.
The tip claimed an unregistered sex offender from California was living in the area.
Deputies made contact with a homeowner who said she was related to Dion Brawley and confirmed Brawley had been staying at the home.
After making contact with Brawley, deputies learned the Tier 3 sex offender had been living in the area for the past two weeks and had not registered.
Brawley was arrested for failure to register and booked into the Lyon County Jail.
