On Tuesday, October 1 at around 9:30 p.m, deputies from the Mineral County Sheriff's Office conducted a stop on U.S. 95 at mile marker 50 in Mineral County and ended up finding 263 marijuana plants in an enclosed trailer.Â
Deputies say they pulled over a silver Ford F150 pulling a black enclosed trailer, the driver confirmed by his driver's license as Michael Brunner of California was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for grand larceny after a records check was performed by the deputies.Â
Brunner was taken into custody and K-9 LeStrange did a free-air sniff around the truck and made an alert. Upon a search, deputies located the 263 marijuana plants inside the enclosed trailer.Â
Brunner was placed under arrest for his outstanding felony warrant and trafficking of marijuana.Â
The Mineral County Sheriff's Office reminds the public that Street, or black market cannabis, offers no quality control in terms of purity, that it might contain traces of other drugs and could put lives at risk.Â
