The City of Reno has announced dates for this year’s Biggest Little Spring Cleaning events, offering free opportunities for residents to dispose of unwanted bulky trash.

Items being accepted:

  • Large trash and debris, no more than one truck bed

  • Furniture or fixtures: couches, mattresses, bathtubs, windows, cabinets, rugs

  • Patio furniture

Items not being accepted:

  • Bicycles

  • Tires

  • hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, batteries, cleaning chemicals)

  • Electronic waste

  • Mercury

  • Asbestos-related items

  • Radioactive smoke detectors

  • Prescription drugs

Events are happening in each ward and will run from 9 a.m. to noon or until container bins are full.
