The City of Reno has announced dates for this year’s Biggest Little Spring Cleaning events, offering free opportunities for residents to dispose of unwanted bulky trash.
Items being accepted:
Large trash and debris, no more than one truck bed
Furniture or fixtures: couches, mattresses, bathtubs, windows, cabinets, rugs
Patio furniture
Items not being accepted:
Bicycles
Tires
hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, batteries, cleaning chemicals)
Electronic waste
Mercury
Asbestos-related items
Radioactive smoke detectors
Prescription drugs
Events are happening in each ward and will run from 9 a.m. to noon or until container bins are full.
