Every Sunday, the Riverside Farmers Market takes over a part of Idlewild Park as a space for local vendors.Â
For Mother's Day, it landed itself on the main thoroughfare.

Fred Williams owns The Design Bench. He does a lot of woodworking, including wooden earrings and other jewelry.
Williams started out five years ago. As a schoolteacher who loves designing things out of wood, summer became the perfect time to make custom wooden jewelry.
He said Mother's Day brings in about three times as many people compared to a normal Sunday.
"It really has a lot if foot traffic in mid-summer with the farmer's market on Sunday, but not like this," Williams said. "This is incredible. This is really fun to see."
2 News Nevada asked a few mothers at the farmers market how they planned to celebrate the day with family.
"This year, we're just kind of wandering around the farmers market, and then we'll go home and maybe ride some horses later," Allison said.
"We are just getting out, just being together, and that's the most important thing to me is for us to be together," Darby Weber said. "So, we're just coming up to the farmers market. I think we're going to go bowling, one of our favorites. And then probably a buffet after that."
Dozens of people enjoyed the expanded market, from dog moms to folks taking care of their moms.
"Happy Mother's Day to all of us," Allison said.
"Thank you for being wonderful," Williams added. "And all those men and boys out there and little girls, treat your mother better than any other day. Wash the car, do the dishes. Don't let mom do anything today."
"I was just telling my daughter on the way over how much we adore our children and how hard we work for them. We take on every emotion and feelings that they have," Weber said.
As a mother herself, Weber added, "I know how hard mothers work and how precious they are. And I love all the other mothers and Happy Mother's Day, definitely, to all the other mothers out there. I hope they have a wonderful day."
From all of us at 2 News Nevada, we thank all of the mothers out there for everything they do, and Happy Mother's Day.
