Traffic changes are coming for an area near the Reno-Stead Airport soon, as the Moya Sewer Project gets underway.
Starting on October 23 and running through December of this year, all southbound lanes on Moya Boulevard will be closed between North Red Rock Road and Lear Boulevard.
Detours will be in place.
Drivers are being asked to use Lear Boulevard to Stead Boulevard as an alternate route on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
All of the northbound lanes on Moya Boulevard will remain open.
The Moya Sewer Project is designed to increase the capacity of the city's sewage system, improving it to better serve the area and ensure more reliable service.
