Local law enforcement agencies recently conducted a multi-agency operation aimed at addressing illegal drug activity in the Lovelock community.

According to the City of Lovelock in an online Facebook post, the effort involved the Lovelock Police Department, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, and Pershing County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators executed multiple search warrants and made several arrests connected to ongoing narcotics investigations. Evidence linked to drug possession and distribution was recovered during the searches.

Officials described the operation as part of a continuing effort among local and regional law enforcement partners to reduce illegal drug activity and improve public safety in Lovelock.

“This collaborative effort reflects a continuing commitment among local and regional law enforcement partners to reduce illegal drug activity and enhance public safety in Lovelock,” the Lovelock Police Department said.

Law enforcement agencies encouraged community members to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.

The Lovelock Police Department reminded residents, “Community awareness and cooperation play a vital role in keeping our neighborhoods safe. Anyone with information regarding suspicious or drug-related activity is encouraged to contact the Lovelock Police Department or the Pershing County Sheriff’s Office.”
