Pyramid Way NDOT

Drivers in Sparks will see work zones and overnight lane reductions on Pyramid Way starting in March as the Nevada Department of Transportation begins a repaving and improvement project.

NDOT says the project will resurface the roadway and improve sidewalks from Nugget Avenue to York Way. The last time the roadway was fully repaved was in 2010.

New pedestrian-activated flashing beacons will also be installed at the intersections of D Street, F Street, L Street and Holman Way. Roadside lighting will also be improved.

Lanes will be reduced to a minimum of one lane nightly between 7 p.m. - 5 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings. During the day, intersections and directions of traffic may briefly be closed.

NDOT says restrictions will be in place through Spring 2027. Â
